This is the policy making organ of the organisation. It is saddled with the responsibilities of approving budget of the organisation, provides contact for resources mobilization and supports the smooth operation of the secretariat.

Barrister Adebusola Mumini – Chairperson

MumuniAdebusola is the principal partner at Adebusola Mumuni and Associates, a legal and consulting firm. She is a vibrant and innovative entrepreneur who believes that there is nothing impossible to achieve when you put your mind to it. When she is not practicing law, she is passionate about community service, particularly mentoring and empowering women and youths. Adebusola enjoys reading, cooking and travelling.

Mr. Liafis Sulaimon  – Member

Liafis Sulaimon is a graduate of Accountancy from both Federal Polytechnic Damaturu Yobe state and University of Maiduguri Borno state. He also has MBA Finance from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso. He worked as Audit staff for Sulaimon & Co (Chattered Accountants) Lagos, thereafter joined Niger Delta Petroleum Resources Ltd as an accountant. Liafis Has over 9 years experience spanning several areas of Auditing including Accounting, Finance and Taxation with various auditing and accounting firms in Nigeria.

Mrs.Hakimat Adefolahan – Member

Hakimat AdefolahanHakimat Adefolahan as an educationist and trainer has been in the education sector for almost a decade. She has taught at different levels of education including secondary schools and at tertiary level. Currently Hakimat is teaching Communication skills and Use of English at College of Administrative and Business Studies (CABS), Potiskum in Yobe State

Mrs.Deborah Salamai –  Member

Mrs. Deborah Ola Salami is a trained educationist, a gender and human rights activists and a frontline social welfare practitioner. Her passion for human rights, equity and social justice dates back to her post secondary college days where she was an active member of Pan African club, a club that condemns racism, inequality and all forms of oppressive rule through its activities.

Mrs. Salami has worked as a teacher for several years and has over 12 years civil society work experience till date. She has served as Secretary General and later President of Women Rights Action Group. She is the South-West Coordinator of IANSA women Network Nigeria. Currently, she is the Deputy Coordinator of CAFSO-WRAG for Development, an NGO that campaigns against Institutions and structures that propagate poverty, human rights abuses while working tirelessly to promote gender equality, sustainable development, democracy and good governance. Mrs Salami is married with children.

Ms.Chioma Kanu – Member

ChiomaChioma, a gender exponent, is a graduate of English Language, from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nigeria Enugu Campus. She has over ten years working experience,
and has worked in different development sectors. She has worked with civil society coalitions, such as NIMPREH, CISHAN, ACODE and currently an NGO- CISLAC. She has also engaged in a lot of consultancies with PATHS 1&2, FHI/GHAIN, ActionAid, Ipas Nigeria, etc.

An astute advocate for development, Chioma has led in a series of advocacy campaigns both in her former places of work and in CISLAC, to the National Assembly, Media houses, Traditional and Religious Leaders on diverse issues ranging from stigmatization of persons living with HIV/AIDS, food security, gender marginalization, inclusive budgeting, eradication of multiple taxation on market women, passage of the National Health Act, etc. She is a community mobilizer and a result oriented personality.

Lukman Adekunle Adefolahan – Secretary

Lukman AdefolahanLukman as a development worker has a wide range of experience working with NGOs especially on governance and anti-corruption programming at national, regional and international levels. He has experiences in the area of human rights, gender and monitoring of Public Procurement, Public Sector Finance, Anti-corruption, good governance monitoring and constitutionalism.

He has trained/facilitated different groups ranging from rural communities, media, youth groups and faith based organizations including engagement with organized private sectors. He has been involved in project design phase to implementation phase (monitoring and evaluation) covering the whole of the six geo political zones in Nigeria and across the selected countries around globe.
Lukman has over a decade experience working on democracy and governance including engaging anti-corruption issues. Some of his experiences include- been an active participant in the activities of Inter-Agency Task Team working on developing a National Anti-Corruption Strategy for Nigeria, the National Advisory Council of Designated Non-Financial Institutions of the Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML) and of the Steering Committee of the Anti-corruption Issue Based Project under the management of the Bureau for Public Sector Reforms. Lukman has cordial working relationship with various government agencies with anti- corruption or accountability mandate in Nigeria in designing programmes to evaluate the activities of the national and state anti-corruption agencies.
